From Hackney Central Station go down to Amhurst Road

Cross at the traffic lights, TL then TR into Brett Street

2 Brett Manor

TR into Kenmure Road then TR on Mare Street, also known as

3 The Narroway

On the left is

4 The Old Town Hall

TL on the old church yard path before the HSBC bank

5 St. Augustines Tower

TL on the first path towards

6 St. John-at-Hackney Church

7 The Tomb of Conrad Loddiges

Leave at the north east corner cross Lower Clapton Road and ahead into

8 Clapton Square

At the top of the square, TR into Clapton Passage, then TL and walk north on Lower Clapton Road

9 Mothers' Square

Cross the road and TR into Linscott Road

10 The London Orphan's Asylum

TL towards Lower Clapton Road and TL

11 The Round Chapel

Continue south on Lower Clapton Road, to the junction with Urswick Road on the left is

12 The Strand Building

Heading south on Urswick Road, TR into

13 Sutton Square

Return to Urswick Road on the right is

14 Sutton Place

At the junction with Isabella Road is Sutton House

TR into Isabella Road, TR into Mehetabel Road and TL up Churchwell Path under the railway line, cross Morning Lane, TR into Chatham Place

Head south on Chatham Place, TR onto Paragon Road

Head west on Paragon Road, continue to the junction with Mare Street and TL.

On the corner of Darnley Road and Mare Street was the former

Stay on the path heading north, exit by Pub on the Park into Martello Street. Next to the railway bridge is

Continue north under the bridge, cross Richmond Road and continue north along Hackney Grove to

Head north on Mare Street back to Hackney Central Station.
